Note:   I was inspired and wrote these poems a few days ago inspired by current events, information and conversations.  I wrote seven different versions of the same theme just by having a different third line in each poem.  If you would be so kind as to choose a favorite version and leave the number of the poem in the comment section.

I published these seven poems in the haiku style of poetry for the first time on my blog today, the 3rd of December, 2020.

What are your thoughts on this Mike.

Republicanism is a truer representation of the people than democracy, in actuality democracy is over rated. Democracy is so corruptible as has be exemplified recently, in line with communism as once again exemplified recently.

Majority rules under democracy, even if this majority is corrupt and immoral, however, at present the minority is trying to rule under the falsehood of democracy. In truth, the minority rule the majority under political systems like communism.

Under republicanism, the majority rule, voting in representatives to represent the voter, be it of minority or majority voters. As it should be, the minority still have a say under this system.

Does the majority always know what it is doing? The majority of people in the world have gone right a long with one of the biggest scams, conspiracy theories, in human history, so no, the majority doesn't always know what it is doing.

Hey Stranger,

Reading this one I had a thought not sure if it crossed your mind or if it's something you would endeavor. I don't see each as versions but as an open to individual stanzas. I have read some of your stuff before and I appreciate the concise nature of your spit. I have used one several times but that's another story.

I hear each not as versions but as the lead in to a second three line quip. This in your style. Long form I know but a vehicle to show case your thought in long form while keeping the integrity of your style. The only issue on face I pondered was would the versions seem repetitive in long form. I don't think so at all. This especially knowing each second stanza would be highly unique while also being direct.

Keep up the good work and thank you.
It is not easy linguistically summing up the scopes you work too. It is possible i'm just a reader with a gluttony flaw.
