Note:  I wrote these ten poems in the huiku style of poetry a few days ago and published them for the first time today, the 21st of January, 2025.   I started with Version # 1 and added a different last verse or line which keeps with the theme of the poem but slightly changes the meaning.  This is a practice that I started some time ago.  I ask the reader if he or she would be so kind as to let me know the number of the poem that most resonates with them by leaving a reply in the comment section.

Rather Trust In Deeds - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Rarely truth in words

Man often deceives, betrays

Rather trust in deeds

© 2025  M.N. Hopkins

Note:  I wrote this poem in the haiku style of poetry a few days ago and published it for the first time today, the 19th of January, 2025.  It is always best to observe the actions of others and reserve not too quick to accept their promises.  The word Man is used as in proper English being short for Mankind which includes both genders.

Our Actions Will Define Us - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Leave judgement to God

Our actions will define us

Tend your own garden

© 2025 M.N. Hopkins

Note:  I both wrote and published this poem for the first time today, the 18th of  January, 2025.  These words came to me in the wee hours of the morning.  To sum it up, when we stick out noses where they do not belong or when we spent all our time in another persons garden, our own garden will end up full of weeds.

Work, Time And Faith Are Conditions For Success - A Quotation by Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

Work, time and faith - conditions for success

Most people readily admit that in order to succeed in the material world, you must be committed and work without cutting corners. But in the spiritual realm they imagine they can obtain results easily and quickly. What a mistake! In the spiritual realm, more so than in the material world, you must first set to work and never relax your effort. Secondly, you must not be in a hurry, because it is a long-term undertaking and time is not a factor. Finally, you must have faith: be convinced that this spiritual work will one day bear fruit, because nature is faithful and true, and the laws which govern it can never be faulted. Work, time and faith. You do not realize the wealth contained in these three words. We can, of course, present them in a different order: faith, work, and time, and so on. What is essential is to understand that these three elements are connected, and to know how they are connected.

Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov was a Bulgarian philosopher, pedagogue, mystic, and esotericist. A leading 20th-century teacher of Western Esotericism in Europe, he was a disciple of Peter Deunov, the founder of the Universal White Brotherhood.

Hard Times Are Coming - A Quotation by Ursula K. Le Guin

Hard times are coming, when we’ll be wanting the voices of writers who can see alternatives to how we live now, can see through our fear-stricken society and its obsessive technologies to other ways of being, and even imagine real grounds for hope. We’ll need writers who can remember freedom — poets, visionaries — realists of a larger reality.

Ursula K. Le Guin

Ursula Kroeber Le Guin (1929–2018) was an American author. She is best known for her works of speculative fiction, including science fiction works.

Life Within Us - A Quotation by Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

Life - a source within us that we must protect

Question a few people at random; ask them if they value life. They will all probably say yes. So why do they squander it, racing around trying to acquire things that aren’t as important as life itself? If they gave a thought first to the source that’s within them, if they tried to protect it and keep it in the greatest purity and light, they would have endless new possibilities for realizing their greatest desires.  Since they have received life, humans believe they can use it as the fancy takes them. Well, they can’t! When they have spent years satisfying their lusts, their ambitions, they find one day that they are exhausted and indifferent. And if they then try to weigh up what they have gained and what they have lost, they will see they have lost an enormous amount for very little gain. Is that intelligent? So, instead of chasing after useless and even harmful things, do your best to keep your life pure, harmonious and luminous. When you have learned how to make it subtler, more intense, you will be able to contact currents and entities in space that will constantly come to support and inspire you.

Social Happiness - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Social Happiness

A loving, caring structure

Comes about by choice

© 2025  M.N. Hopkins

Note:   This is the third in a trilogy of haiku poems that I wrote yesterday and published for the first time today, the 13th of January, 2025.  All three poems should be read in order to see the progression.  This would be the final step in the process of social reconstruction or perhaps just getting back to our original state of being.  Ponder that.

Social Redemption - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Social redemption

Lord Jesus Christ bless us all

Be blessed by his Light

© 2025  M.N. Hopkins

Note:  Note:  This is the second in a trilogy of haiku poems that I wrote yesterday and published for the first time today, the 13th of January, 2025.  All three poems should be read in order to see the progression. Repentance and redemption can be done by the individual and when done by many, many this will result in a social redemption.  A strong connection to the Divine is the only way out of the mess we as community have gotten ourselves into,   Ponder that.

Find Your Way Back - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Social discontent

People lack community

Find your way back

© 2025  M.N. Hopkins

Note:  This is first in a trilogy of haiku poems that I wrote yesterday and published for the first time today, the 13th of January, 2025.  All three poems should be read in order to see the progression.  Some say this lack of community is by design by a few of ill intent.  Ponder that.

Restore Dignity - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

We are being played

Time to put them in their place

Restore dignity

© 2025  M.N. Hopkins

Note:  I wrote this poem a few days ago and published it for the first time today, the 12th of January, 2025.  There are several global institutes and forums that have been set up to be deceive the public and institute a dystopian world.  They speak with forked tongues.

What Is Civil War? A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

What is civil war?

Outside manipulators

Divide and conquer

© 2025  M.N. Hopkins

Note:  I wrote this poem a few days ago in the haiku style of poetry and published it for the first time today, the 12th of January, 2025.  Color revolution is one good example of this.  Wherever and whenever people people become a little too freedom minded and free themselves from tyranny, then outside groups, aka NGOs are funded to cause political unrest and division to maintain the status quo.
