To Whom This May Concern:
Just Label It is excited to announce a special partnership with Farm Aid, an organization dedicated to keeping family farmers on their land. For many of these farmers, the issue of genetically engineered foods hits home.
From the constant fear of cross-pollination and contamination to the rising cost and scarcity of non-genetically-engineered seeds, countless farmers across the country are affected by the corporate monopoly over the seed market. Learn more from farmers about the impact of GMOs.
Farm Aid hosts the longest running benefit concert in America, and inspires millions of attendees to learn about the Good Food Movement. These concerts bring together the greatest artists in American music to support and keep family farmers on the land and to inspire American citizens to choose family farmed food.
This year’s concert is just a few days away – and you’re invited!
You can watch a special online presentation of the concert event – Farm Aid 2012: A Backstage Pass – on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. Eastern. To see who will be performing at Farm Aid 2012, click here.
In addition to performances on stage, viewers of Farm Aid 2012: A Backstage Pass will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Farm Aid 2012, featuring interviews with artists, farmers and fans; demonstrations from the HOMEGROWN Village where concertgoers engage in interactive exhibits about farming and food; a look at Farm Aid’s signature HOMEGROWN Concessions® which brings family farm food to concertgoers; and a peek into the production side of things showcasing what it takes to produce this major music, food and farming festival.
Going to the concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania? Stop by Just Label It’s booth in the HOMEGROWN Village and say hello! You’ll even get a chance to use your creative side in our “Create & Label Your Own GMO” exhibit.
We hope you’ll join us to support our partner Farm Aid and help “Keep America Growing!”
Sincerely,
David Bancroft
