Note:  I wrote these seven poems in the haiku style of poetry last week and published it for the first time today, the 17th of January, 2024.  I started with Version # 1 and added a different last verse or line which keeps with the theme of the poem but slightly changes the meaning.  This is a practice that I started some time ago.  I ask the reader if he or she would be so kind as to let me know the number of the poem that most resonates with them by leaving a reply in the comment section.
