Note: I was inspired and wrote these five poem over a few days time. At first, I wrote only one poem and later decided to expand on the original thought. The poem itself is about current events that if left unchecked will lead to the end of our Constitutional Republic. This is my current rendition of history for future generations if in fact a mass censoring of literative, art and ideas that do not fit into a totalitarian model happens to survive into the future.
If one changes one word or verse it can change the meaning yet stay within the same theme. The reader can decide which poem resonates the most with them and tell me in the comment section below which number it was. If you would be so kind?
I have written all five poems in the haiku style of poetry and published them on my blog for the first time today, the 21st of January, 2021.
