L'humanité vit encore - Une citation de M.N. Hopkins

Mankind Still Lives - A Quotation from M.N. Hopkins

The day that we lose our humanity is the day that Mankind dies yet if even one can keep their inner Light alive then Mankind still lives in the one and will carry on.

A Book Review And Recommendation of Velin, The Rifle's Song by Black Knight

A very short but clever Novella that is a very engaging read as are all the books of the Starshatter space opera series.  The author builds a link to past events of the liberation of worlds with the story concentrating on new heroic characters who enhance the totality of the Starshatter space opera series of books.  The story focuses around two main protagonists who come together as leaders in the liberation of a once advanced ancient culture conquered by those who plunder and enslave planets.  The remnants of that once great planet have maintained a strong internal spirit of freedom and continue to fight for their sovereignty,  freedom and the liberation of their planet.  Again, the author does not disappoint and continues to produce excellent fictional tales for his readers.  I can highly recommend this book to all those who love the genre of science fiction.  Happy reading.

With Respect And In Freedom - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Many have died

Many more will die

We will remember

The ones who we loved

And

The ones who loved us

Our Strength

Our Resilience

Our Fortitude

Will see us through these dark times

And

Those who were deceived and betrayed

Will be inspired to end this madness

And

Find their own Strength

Their own Resilience

Their own Fortitude

Our inheritance from countless generations

Who came before

And

Join us in a calm, confident manner

That will shake and rattle

The powers that should not be

And

Reason and love and faith

Will be restored

In ourselves

In our communities

In our world

And

One day in the future

Our descendants will smile upon our memory

With

Thanksgiving and gratitude

For our Sacrifice

For our Strength

For our Fortitude

For our faith restored in ourselves

And

In one another

And

For turning the tide

By

Revealing the great deceptions

That were intended to imprison

And

To enslave Mankind

Instead

We built a foundation

For a future world

In which our descendants

Will live in a world in which

They will live together

With respect

And

In freedom

Note:   I wrote this poem a few weeks ago in the free verse style of poetry and placed the paper in a file cabinet.  I later came across it while looking for another item and after reading it again, I decided to publish it on my blog for the first time today, the 1st of January, 2023.
