Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.— John 14. 27
Translation:
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, Do I give you peace.
Let not your hearts be troubled, Nor fear the shadow of the night. In God’s light the soul finds rest, And the pure heart abides in faith.
Hear us, O Lord, in our prayers, Pour Your peace into every heart. May Your Spirit descend upon us, And grant us eternal calm and grace.
As the angels sing on high, So we praise Your glory here below. Let Your peace rest upon the earth, And may Your love bloom in every faithful heart.
