Are we awakening when the world around us seems to be getting worse?

We can die in pain, either physically and /or mentally, are we then not freed from pain, suffering of life experiences, when we pass over? Same thing, as we also become more aware. As part of our environment dies, we awaken for we are of our environment.

Yes, some souls will still suffer from their life experiences instead of learning from their life experiences, most of us learn after our demise. The same is with this reality as it dies, it's simply a transition from living a life of suffering from the collective life experience, to a state of learning from the collective life experience. Yes, some will not learn but continue to suffer but they will be the minority no longer in control.
