A New Farming Technology That Will Eliminate The Use Of Toxic Herbicides

High-speed particles of grit shred the weeds at 100 pounds per square inch of compressed air. “We’ve been getting season-long weed control of about 80 to 90 percent, which isn’t perfect, but most organic farmers would be happy with that amount of weed control,” says Forcella, a USDA Dept. of Agriculture agronomist. The weeds just disappear. No need for herbicide tolerant genetically engineered crops. No need for toxic Roundup, 2,4-D and dicamba. NO NEED FOR MONSANTO, SYNGENTA, DOW, BAYER, DUPONT, BASF.

This sounds perfect for local Farmer's Market co-ops. We do not mind paying more for FRESH veggies that we buy from local growers. The good news is: When we buy veggies in-season they are actually equal to less expensive than Walmart and Publix -- and they last longer and have more flavor because they were not picked green and warehoused to the stores.
