I say, "Just create a feeling of gratitude and enjoy it". If this doesn't work then follow the 9 steps. If that doesn't work for you then be glad and grateful that tomorrow is another day to give it a go.

Thanks - this guide was nice. I started practice this a couple of weeks ago when I found a book about gratitude (the book: The secret - the magic, which I highly recommend). Gratitude is truly great. Even if days can have downs, it seems like gratitude brings it up and gives me "highs" of bliss where all you feel is gratitude... despite all setbacks and failures, it is truly a state of bliss to be grateful :)
