Lakota Chief Oren Lyons Speaks To Our Humanity
An inspirational and wise speech by a Native American leader. It's a pleasure to hear someone speaking straight and with common sense.
Will we finally listen or shall I say, will you open your ears and your mind and take in what this man has to say? I for one can hear and understand the important of his words clearly.

Native American leaders always seem to have a special kind of wisdom, thanks for sharing.
Very good speech but I have a question... Do you know if Owen Lyons is a Lakota or an Onondaga which is a tribe of the Iroquois Nation?

To answer your question: Yes, Owen is an Orondaga elder. I found this quotation of his:
