So happy and full of joy
Closer to the Source

Note: This poem was inspired today while watching a very small girl perhaps one year of age with her Mother in a playground near my home. She was pointing toward the slide with such joy as a mother held her. Her joy was infectious and this reminded me of why I believe that the wee little ones are so popular and loved buy adults. They are so close to the Source of all Life which we as we grow older become more and more detached from. They are still plugged into the joy and love of the Divine having just arrived in our world and stilll have a remenberance of that happy place from which we all have come from. I wrote this poem in the haiku style of poetry and published it for the first time today, the 19th of April, 2021.
