A Book Review and Recommendation of the Scifi Book, Secrets of Lothoria, Book # 5 of the Starshatter Series by Black Knight

In this,  the fifth book of the Starhatters series, the crew of the Starshatter arrives on a planet called Lothoria that is Medieval with a feudal system of Lords, Priests, their military protectors and a population of serfs whom are worked to death, physically and sexually abused, fed only water and moldy bread.  A living nightmare of a distopian world where wills, hopes and any thoughts of human freedoms, liberty or a pleasant existence no longer exist.  The people of this world are truly a broken people.

The good captain and his loyal crew have come to support local rebels in their resistence to the evil lords and priests of this desolate, desert planet. They have brought them primitive weapons, trained them and helped them to build their own militias to win back their planet. They have also found that the last Illuminati whom they banished from Earth has set up shop on Lothoria in the hopes of corrupting the Government, Priests, Military and enslaving the already beaten and enslaved population to his will as was done on Earth until the people found out the truth of their great decept and hunted them down and hung them from trees.

The good caption called in some favors and enlisted the help of Star Knights, an ancient order as well as an elite army of well trained fighter pilots and Samurai soldiers from the nation state of Japan.  Again, as in previous books,  we have amazing battle scenes with great acts of sacrifice and courage as the Terrans who will fight to the last man, woman or child to defend their freedom and that of other alien species who wish to break the chains of the evil coalition of totalitarian planets who wish to enslave and eventually exterminate all of Terrankind and their more evolved, freedom loving allies.

Again, Black Knight has created an imaginary world full of villians and heros who portray what is both the best and the worst within the human spirit.  These books only get better with each release of a new book.  I find myself fully engaged in the reading and learning more and more about both the protagonists and antagonists as well as their values and the social structures in which they exist.

I will end this review by saying, well done,  Black Knight.  You have written an impressive scifi novel that I can without hesitation recommend to those who love the science fiction or fantasy genre of literature.  You will not be disappointed.  I give this book a five out of five star rating.  I do look forward to reading Book # 6 in the series.
