Healing Occurs When....A Quotation by M.N. Hopkins

Humans create institutions and expertise where no true expertise exists. Healing occurs not only within an individual,  but within a community when there is a shared responsibility for the care and welfare of all.

Happy New Year 2020

Wishing all a very Happy New Year 2020.

My very best wishes to all,
Mike

Note:     This will be my last post of 2019.  I wish to thank all the regular visitors to my blog as well as those who drop by for a visit from time to time as well as those who have just discovered it.  Many thanks for stopping by to visit, reading my posts and commenting.  Next year will be my tenth year of blogging.     I hope to release more of my insights, poems, quotations, discourses, guest posts  and other things of interest to myself and others.    I truly wish that you have taken some comfort, some inspiration and perhaps gained some new insights into yourself and the world around you.   This has been my intentions from the start.   Remember, God helps those who help themselves.  Be good, be well and honor your agreements.   Lend a hand if and when you can.   Seek sanity and kindness and sense in an insane and cruel world that often makes no sense at all and you just might by the Grace of God find it.

Vikings Of The North - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Vikings of the North

Warriors, Merchants, Builders, Strong

Loyal to their own

©   2019   M.N. Hopkins

Note:     I wrote this poem a few days ago inspired by a show about Vikings.  The Vikings and their culture was so much more than what is usually portrayed on television or in movies.  They were probably the height of Northern development and it has been all down hill since then.  A strong, innovation people who took care of their own and had freedoms no longer experienced in the North.

I published it for the first time today, the 27th of December, 2019 in the haiku style of poetry.

One Of The Greatest Crimes Is.....A Quotation by M.N Hopkins

One of the greatest crimes in our current societies is the misguided emphasis put upon youth. Youth is nothing more than a stage of growth toward a mature adulthood, that will further lead to a wise and knowledgeable population of Elders.

Proud, Strong, Resilient - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

You might be broken

But not yet beyond repair

Proud, strong, resilient

©   2019    M.N. Hopkins

Note:   This was inspired  after inspired by the story of a young woman kidnapped along with two others and the only one to survive a demonic figure.  She was the one with a rough life of loss and being abused by her uncle who adopted her after the death of her father.  She was broken in a way but strong in her resolve to survive.   I also viewed a video which I posted under that fits the theme of the poem.   I wrote this over the weekend and published it in the haiku style of poetry for the first time on the 23rd of December, 2019.

When Humanity Can Let Go Of....A Guest Post by Michael Brine

When Humanity can let go of being controlled through fear and resist judging others, and follow the deeper urgings of their hearts then, and only then, will we be able to soar to new heights of understanding, letting go of the shackles that we have allowed to bind us, discovering some of the very real mysteries that when understood will move us to new heights of awareness.

It's Alright To Cry - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

It's alright to cry

You could also laugh instead

Both release your pain

©   2019    M.N. Hopkins

Note:   I wrote this  poem after thinking about how one can release emotional pain, trauma  and stress by the acts of crying or laughing.  Both will release emotional stress and toxins from the body resulting in felling lighter and more content.  I wrote this poem yesterday in the haiku style of poetry and published it for the first time on my blog today, the 21st of December,  2019.

A Prayer - A Guest Post by Errol Clark Halkett

Prayer

May today there be peace within

May you trust your highest power that you
are exactly where you are meant to be....

May you not forget the infinite possibilities
that are born of faith

May you use those gifts that you have
received, and pass on the love that has been
given to you....

May you be content knowing you are a child of God....

Let this presence settle into our bones,
and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
dance,

It is there for each and every one of you...

Amen

Remain In The Light - A Poem by Dominic Windram

Remain In The Light

We seek the things of wonder in our wildest dreams.

We are bored by mundane routines; cold plans and schemes.

We know that art/ poetry expresses the soul.

In acts of creation, we connect with the whole.

We move away from separation/ division;

As long as we remain true to our bright visions.

Although we're tempted by the dark agents of night,

We should seek wondrous things and remain in the light.

Dark Forces And Their Working Through Humans - A Narration by Omraam Mikael Aivanhov

Dark forces - for which humans are unconsciously the instruments.

"People may attack you without even knowing why,  just as you too may fail to understand why you are attacking them. This is because humans are often the unconscious instruments of dark forces that have seized hold of them. To protect ourselves from humans, we must first learn to protect ourselves from the evil spirits that come to inhabit them, for behind every physical enemy,  a dark entity is always at work.

The battles we must wage to defend ourselves are therefore of a very subtle nature. We must leave enemies alone, without seeking to harm them, rather only training ourselves internally, strengthening ourselves, cultivating qualities of purity, kindness and patience, so as to attract the help of the entities of light. Upon their arrival, they will drive out the dark entities that use our enemies to harm us, and they will settle in their place. Then, one day, the very people who acted as adversaries will behave like friends."

Programed Distractions - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Our lost boys and girls

Taught weakness in all it's forms

Programed distractions

©  2019    M.N. Hopkins

Note:     This poem was inspired by a dream I had of mentally ill and emotionally ill adults sexually abusing children.  In the dream I took one of the children on my lap and did a healing of him with my hands.   It will take more than education and therapy to heal all the broken children who have become the victims of  perverted and degenerative ideologies.

I wrote and published this poem in the haiku style of poetry for the first time today on my blog, the 30th of November, 2019.

Will This Trend Reverse? - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

United States Congress

Gross incompetence

Encouraged and Rewarded

Will this trend reverse?

©   2019    M.N. Hopkins

Note:    I woke up in the night with this poem in my head and got up to record it for future use yesterday.    You can pick your organization whether in Government, Courts, Business, Education, Associations, Institutes and Non-Profits.  This ineptitude and incompetence along with corruption has reached pandemic proportions.   It can only get much worse,  leading to a total collapse of our current way of life and then it will slowly get better over time due to the necessity of the survival of Mankind.

I wrote this poem in the haiku style of poetry and published it for the first time on my blog today, the 21st of November, 2019.

Career Suicide - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

To see a problem

Direct and act to correct

Career suicide

©   2019    M.N. Hopkins

Note:    This poem was inspired by looking into the concept of functional stupidity, also called, the stupidity paradox and reflecting on my own experiences in the workplaces of the last 30 years where knowledge, skills and intelligence has taken a backseat to stupidity and focus upon the task at hand.

I wrote and published it today on the 19th of November, 2019 in the haiku style of poetry.
