Sacrifice - The Wisdom of Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

Sacrifice - it serves the same purpose as fire

"There are many uses for fire. Fire is present in all chemical operations; it melts metal, it cooks food to make it edible, it provides heat and light, and it purifies. On the spiritual plane, sacrifice serves the same purpose as fire.

Each time you make a sacrifice, you light a fire. For example, when you decide to give up a bad habit, certain matter begins to be consumed within you, and it releases an energy that fuels your endeavour. Each sacrifice is a gift you give to yourself and in exchange, you receive purer energies that enable you to go further, higher. This is why sacrifice is a magical act thanks to which you have every opportunity to build something useful, beautiful and noble, not only in your own heart and soul, but in the heart and soul of all beings.”'

Do Not Put Off Today That Which.......The Wisdom Of Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) has been called the "sleeping prophet," the "father of holistic medicine," and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. Cayce was born on a farm in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 1877, and his psychic abilities began to appear as early as his childhood. As an adult, Cayce would put himself into a state of meditation, connecting with the universal consciousness and from this state, came his "readings". From holistic health and the treatment of illness to dream interpretation and reincarnation, Cayce's readings and insights offer practical help and advice to individuals from all walks of life, even today.

Suffering - The Wisdom Of Omraam Mickael Aivanhov

Suffering - It teaches humans which guide they must follow.

"When someone proposes a policy inspired by generosity and concern for the most deprived, very few people decide to support them. But if they talk about overthrowing the powers that be to seize the positions and privileges they exercise, this person is backed by a crowd. What conclusion can we draw? That humans still need to suffer. Perhaps one day, because of their suffering, they will come to understand what concerns and activities will help them to flourish.
You think I am cruel? No, it saddens me to say so, but humans need to suffer in order to understand. When a messenger from heaven appears – someone who can enlighten them on the direction to take – not only do they turn a deaf ear, but they often persecute them. And when a criminal comes along who will lead them to disaster, they welcome them, they cheer them on and carry them to power – it is they themselves who provide the criminal with the means to destroy them. So, it is clear: humans need to suffer in order to understand once and for all to whom they must listen and whom they should follow."

Physical And Psychic Discomfort - The Wisdom of Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

Physical and psychic discomforts - always present opportunities to work on ourselves.

"When you experience a physical or psychic malaise, do not try to get rid of it by immediately resorting to medication. First, consider that in giving you this pain, nature is pressing you to do work on the spiritual plane. Try to forget this discomfort for a moment, and meditate, pray, connect yourself to the light.
I am not saying that you can cure all your pains by means of thought. But instead of always choosing the easy way to rid yourself of the smallest aches and pains through external means such as tablets, pills and so on, first call upon a spiritual element. Try working with light, love, harmony and purity. Then, not only might you free yourself from this slight inconvenience, but your whole being will benefit from it, because the work you do in this way not only affects one particular condition within you, but your entire physical and psychic body."

Divide Yourself Not - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Divide yourself not

Then you will be distracted

Stay strong in yourSelf

©  2018   M.N. Hopkins

Note:  This poem was inspired yesterday after first viweing a interview dealing with unatural, disharmonious sounds vs. the harrmonious and natural sounds in nature that can induce healing in the body then later that evening listening to a medium talk about not being distracted by cell phones and TV and to take time to listen to the sounds of nature to connect to what one’s Soul is telling you.

The first line of the poem came to me effortlessly as an insight while listening to the second man speaking and I played with different constellations of words for the second and third lines of this haiku poem.  I finished it this morning and published it for the first time on my blog today, the 7th of June 2018.

When I write yourself, this refers to the ego self.  When I write yourSelf, this refers to the Soul or Higher Self or that which is closer to the Divine.

On Sound Healing and the Phonosphere of the Earth - Radio Interview
Simone Vitale, hosted by Tim Lynch at Greenplanet FM in Auckland, NZ, shares his thoughts about the role of sound in the natural environment. All the sounds of nature coalesce and vibrate, in one vast symphony as in, for example, the dawn chorus of birds. The human contribution to this living, nourishing element we call sound very often shows a lack of awareness, similarly to other aspects of the environment. A mindful use of sound can be of great help in these turbulent times.
In understanding sound ecology and the ‘phonosphere’ - that above the lithosphere (the rigid outer part of the earth, consisting of the crust and upper mantle) and ‘within' the teaming biosphere - resides the all of nature’s creatures emanating their calls and instinctive sounds. But more so, the whistle of the wind, the rustle of leaves, the murmur of a brook and the crashing of waves on a beach - everywhere natures dance emanates a soundscape that delights and touches our senses. Then we have the industrial man - and we all know these sounds. http://thesoundhealer.org/ http://soundofgoldenlight.com/
