Shall I No Longer Buy Arla Dairy Products?

GMO Fed Cows

It has recently come to my attention that Arla Foods is purchasing milk from German farmers who use GMO feed.  The party line is that Swedish farmers cannot produce enough milk for their use.  Only their Ecological dairy products are from cows that eat grass and hay from the meadows in the Swedish countryside.

Their new company slogen is, Closer to Nature. Sounds to me that in reality they are closer to MonSatan than to Mother Earth.

I do not drink much milk, just a litttle in my coffee everyday and  I do like filmilk or yogurt with musli in the morning and butter on my sandwishes and for cooking.  As of today, there will be no more Arla Products in my home.

I prefer not to have MonSatan's Roundup, a very dangerous weed killer in my milk or other dairy products.  It's bad enough that I intake growth hormones, vaccines, antibotics and God only knows what other poisons in my food.  It's one thing not to know, but when one gets the information that GMO foods are involved, that is where I draw the line.

So, now to answer my own question.   Yes, I shall no longer buy any Arla Foods products and I encourage you all to do a bit of research in the area of foods that you eat, where they come from and what is the history behind their production.  Everyone must be responsible for their own health and well being as much as is possible in a fabricated world of not just products, but information.

Arla should be focusing on selling healthy products. Instead it seems like they have joined the global club to kill for profit. Wasn´t Arla involved in the contaminated milkpowder that was sold in China???

Hi Mike,

Good stuff!

I have always said that cow's milk was made for baby cows! Like you, I have to admit I do use a little milk in my tea but that's it! Have a good one.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for your concern regarding Arla and our products. We can assure you that there is no such thing as GMO in any product from Arla. And we also have an agreement in Sweden through Svensk Mjölk, the swedish dairy association, not to use any GMO-feedings. This is a quite uinque agreement which makes it possible for our farmers to avoid GMO-feeding for cows in Sweden although it is legal. Concerning your thoughts about Arla and Hansa Milch, the idea is not to deliver german milk to Sweden, but as we see it this is for example a good opportunity to provide Germany with more ecological diary products.

Kind Regards
Elin at Arla

Hello Elin:

Thanks for your comment.

For you own knowledge, you don't have to tell the boss or co-workers. Try Åsens Gammaldags Milk from Skånemejierna. It's really good and tastes like real milk. I am recommending it to all my friends.

Good luck with damage control..((:

So, after hearing from Elin, Mike, do you still believe the milk used to make my favorite havarti cheese from area came from cows eating GMO feed?

Hello Julie:

If it was organic and came from a Swedish farm it most likely is.
