Evil - do not fight it head-on; strengthen yourself in order to resist better and take better action What do you do when it rains or hails, when a storm and high winds are raging? Do you go out and fight the elements? No, you look after your house: you fill in the cracks, replace broken tiles, make sure that it is well insulated, and so on. Once your house is shored up and secure you can rest easy. You know very well what to do when it comes to the forces of nature, so how is it that where evil is concerned, you no longer know what to do? You believe that you can vanquish evil by attacking it head-on, but you are the one who will be vanquished. Instead of battling evil, you must make yourself stronger so as to be able to resist better, understand better and take better action. Even Archangel Michael did not destroy evil,* for it is written in Revelation that he did not slay the dragon, he merely put it in chains and subdued it. So how can we, who are so much less powerful than Archangel Michael, believe that if we fight against evil we will succeed in destroying it? Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov was a Bulgarian philosopher, pedagogue, mystic, and esotericist. A leading 20th-century teacher of Western Esotericism in Europe, he was a disciple of Peter Deunov, the founder of the Universal White Brotherhood.

Note:  I wrote this poem  in the haiku style of poetry yesterday and published it for the first time today, the 30th of October, 2024.  Whom will you vote for on November 5th?  To clarify, I do not believe any person is evil at their core just influenced, directed by, distracted, attached to or possessed of evil.   Evil is a choice that they have made sometime within their lifetime.

Note:  I wrote this poem a few days ago and published it for the first time today, the 23rd of October, 2024.  Today in our world we have an the arrogance and the inflated egos of the weak, inept and incompetent who have been appointed rather than chosen by their pers who are acting in not even their own interests but that of a small, select group whose only goal is the complete control and domination of the worlds population.  They will fail in time but during that time our only hope will be Divine intervention that will aid and foster what is best in our humanity.
