O How I Wish! - A Poem & Guest Post by Dominic Windram

O how I wish I could create a poem

As significant as a prayer or hymn:

That would blossom like a beautiful, bold

Flower with a power drawn from within!

By blending noble thought and warm passion,

It would transcend the world's fleeting fashions.

More precious than countless, verbose pages;

O it would echo throughout the ages!

Anyway - A Guest Post by Errol Clark Halkett

Anyway

People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered
Love them anyway
If you do good, people will accuse you of ulterior motives
Do good anyway
If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies
Succeed anyway
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow
Do good anyway
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable
Be honest and frank anyway
People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs
Fight for some underdogs anyway
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight
Build anyway
People really need help but may attack you if you help them
Help people anyway
Give the world the best you have and it’ll kick you in the teeth
Give the world your best anyway

The wolf returns to the side of the lion and the once sheep will follow but not as before.

Now, the lions in sheep's clothing, full of courage, full of Light, full of Love.

Until Selfvation - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Until Selfvation

We suffer, need illusions

See clearly, be free

©  2019   M.N. Hopkins

Note:    I took the liberty to create a new word, "Selfvation"  which would be defined as going directly to our Soul for guidance and liberation.  No need for outside teachers, gurus or advisors.   Our own Soul which I believe to be the link between God and ourselves is the deliverer or liberator rather than some outside savior thus going directly to the Source and cutting out the middleman.   I am not saying to not be inspired by the wisdom of Saints and Prophets but to use their words as they were intended to be used to inspire and motivate you to do the hard work of liberation and enlightenment that is your responsibility and that in reality, only you can do.

This poem was inspired, written and published  for the first time in the haiku style of poetry on my blog today, the 27th of August 2019.

There are many ways your ego can trick you and make you think you are either a superior being, an inferior being or make you believe that the reason for your existence is something else than your love for humanity and all other beings on Earth.

At The End Comes The Strength - A Poem & Guest Post by KiBLS

At the end comes the strength

The end is slowly approaching,
That's what a faithful scout told me.

Now it suddenly becomes obvious to me;
It is coming suspiciously close to me.

It is difficult for me to evade him,
Because it always requires more.

Thoughts have to grasp everything,
they can't leave time me to rest.

The heart becomes warm and heavy,
until it gasps; I can't anymore.

And yet you feel this strength,
which gives you a new courage.

You have to do this with all your will;
breast-feed your innermost from the inside.

Then you will see it;
Your spirit will never pass!

This Too Shall Pass - A Guest Post by Errol Clark Halkett

FOUR WORDS

A king called all of his wise men and counsellors together for a
meeting.  He addressed them and said, "I want you to go and
think, read, and research.  Consult the wisest and most learned
men in the land.  Spare no expense."

"I want you to find the ONE statement that will get me through
all situations in life.  Whether I am on top of the world or in
the pits, find that statement."

"I don't want to learn long and complicated philosophies.
I want one simple statement.  Find it or write it; I don't care,
just bring me the statement."

The men left and consulted for months.
They finally returned and handed the King a scroll.

The King unrolled the scroll.  On it was written four words.

"THIS TOO SHALL PASS"

That was it.

The wise men explained.

When you are on top of the world, that is but a fleeting
moment, things change, always remember, this too shall pass.

When you are in the pits, all nights are followed by day, at
your lowest moments remember also, this too shall pass.

All external circumstances and material things change.

No matter what your circumstances, remember,

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

The wise men reminded the great King that this would get him
through his earthly things but the truly wise knew there were
things beyond this earth and life. . .

Things that were eternal.

True wisdom they reminded the King was in the ability to
recognize the fleeting temporal things of the material world
from the truly eternal things.

O Great King they said, "Most of the things that you worry or
gloat about are temporary and our four words apply."

For most of your situations. . .

THIS TOO SHALL PASS!

Death Has Nothing To Do With Going Away - The Wisdom Of Rumi

Jelaluddin Rumi, the 13th century mystic poet, was truly one of the most passionate and profound poets in history.  Now, today his presence still remains strong, due in part to how his words seem to drip of the divine, and startle a profound remembrance that links all back to the Soul-Essence.

Born in what is present day Afghanistan in 1207, he produced his master work the Masnawi which consists of over 60,000 poems before he died in 1273.  The best way to fully say in words his impact, is that he has the ability to describe the Indescribable, Ineffable-- God.

Note:  In this poem the first line of it just popped into my head yesterday evening and the second and third  lines I constructed to fit the first over 2 days.    I usually pick one version and discard the rest.  This time I decided to publish five different haiku poems with the same theme just slightly different wording.  I will ask you to pick the poem you think is best.  You can tell me which one in the comment section with a number, 1 to 5 if you would be so kind and are willing to do so.  I published all five poems on my blog today for the first time on the 12th of August,  2019.

Tune Into The Earth - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Tune into the Earth

The Mother's love will fill you

Healing connection

©   2019       M.N. Hopkins

Note:      I wrote and published this poem today in the haiku style of poetry.   The inspiration was the picture above that I found on the net and had been thinking about how I could use it in a post on how our health and well being are connected to the Earth.  This is the result which took the form of a poem which I published  for the first time on my blog today, the 11th of August 2019 as a part of the annual event on my blog which I call, Inspirational August.

An Ancient Hawaiian Prayer

Ancestral spirits

From the sun's rising to the sun's setting

Blessings to this house

Blessing to this food

Blessings on the family gathering

Ancestral immortals

Bring forth from the spirit world the gifts of good health and abundance

And manifest these blessings

The prayer has flown

The restrictions are lifted.

There Will Be One Day - A Poem & Guest Post by Magnus Ericcson

There is many ways humans
can write and try to debate and
describe our true identity
But instead I say:
There will be one day that you will laugh,
with joy and love in your heart at the fact
that you actually one day did chose to
believe that you were not a part of God
A day when you thought that you consisted
of darkness, pain, misery and confusion.
And did forget that
You Are God. A loving God.
A vibration purely consisting of
divine love, joy and happiness
And your inner pain and misery
will stop that day you will understand,
or rather know that it is your
true identity.
And hopefully you will realize this
before you leave this planet

Memories from the Future: The Valley of Roses - A Talk Given By Nassos Komianos

Talk given by Athanasios Komianos

Published on Oct 4, 2013

SUBSCRIBE 1K
This was a presentation that took place at the Association for Research and Enlightenment at Virginia Beach for the VB friends of the IANDS on September 14 2013. This is an amazing experience that took place in 1921 involving a visit from someone in the future, from the year 3906 AD. Nassos Komianos summarized the whole story and insights of the Swiss teacher Paul Amadeus Dienach, who slipped in a rare state of consciousness, called narcolepsy for almost a year. When he recovered he came back with memories of another person (actually his future embodiment), a physicist named Andreas Northam, who lived in the future. The professor of the future had an accident involving an NDE and when he recovers, he has been possessed by the personality of our twentieth century teacher (or actually his own former persona). He cannot recognize any of his loved ones and speaks a foreign tongue that no one comprehends. Not only that but he suffers from another ailment, he never sleeps. The body of our Swiss teacher is constantly asleep and the body of the man of the future is constantly awake. The physicians of the future examine him thoroughly but cannot explain the phenomenon and they think it is a consequence of his momentary death. They began re-educating the new persona of their once famous physicist. During this process of re-education, Dienach is taught what took place for those two millennia. What happened in history, and how things evolved, is strikingly shocking and flaringly interesting. When the Swiss teacher came out of his narcoleptic coma in 1922, he began writing all his memories from the future. Later, he was struck by tuberculosis and left all his transcripts to his Greek student, and died at the age of 38. After 44 years, this student became the Dean of the Panteion University of Athens he published, with a lot of reservations, this unique experience.
Special thanks to the VB IANDS and Dick Dinges, Lloyd Kremer and Elena Viada. Copyright of the presentation Athanasios Komianos www.hypnoscopesis.gr
