Spirit - keep your body in good health so that the spirit can express itself fully
There have been many religious people and mystics in the past who believed that spirituality consisted of eating and drinking whatever came to hand, sleeping on the floor, enduring extremes of heat or cold, and living in deplorably unhygienic conditions. Of course, in this way they learned not to let themselves be dominated by the needs of their physical body or to lose themselves in sensual pleasures, for then, it is true, the spirit can no longer make its voice heard. But this was an exaggeration, and by depriving themselves of everything, many fell ill… which did nothing to encourage the spirit to manifest within them. We must be reasonable, maintain a certain balance, and do everything necessary to stay physically healthy, so that when the spirit wants to bring us inspirations and revelations, it will find a receptive, docile, physical body through which to express itself fully.
Observed the first Monday in September, Labor Day is an annual celebration of the social and economic achievements of American workers. The holiday is rooted in the late nineteenth century, when labor activists pushed for a federal holiday to recognize the many contributions workers have made to America’s strength, prosperity, and well-being.
Os videntes duvidaram.
Ridicularizados, escarnecidos, ameaçados.
Ainda assim, eles falam a verdade.

Nota: Escrevi este poema há alguns dias e publiquei-o pela primeira vez hoje, 29 de agosto de 2025. Fui inspirado enquanto assistia a um filme português chamado Fátima. Os três pequenos videntes da Virgem Maria tiveram dificuldades em lidar com as autoridades políticas e eclesiásticas que desejavam censurá-los e silenciá-los.

The seers doubted
Ridiculed, mocked, threatened
Still, they speak truth

Note: I wrote this poem a few days ago and published it for the first time today, the 29th of August, 2025. It was inspired while watching a Portuguese film production called, Fatima. The three little seers of the Virgin Mother Mary had a difficult time dealing with political and church authorities who wished to censor and silence them.

Note: I wrote this poem in the wee hours of this morning and published it for the first time today, the 27th of August, 2025. We have been looking in the wrong places and to the wrong people to save our life way rather than looking to the Divine for counsel. Ponder that.

For now in our world the opposite is true and few can see the truth of this. Those of darkness proclaim to be those of Light and those of Light are not even given a voice within your communities. Men truly pay a great deal of currency to hear evil consul while those with words of wisdom have their words go unheard. There has been such a concentration on the darker side of human thought and emotion than that which is healing and builds up strength within the human personality structures goes unnoticed. So, the sick care for the sick and only those who abandon or are abandoned by your human systems become well and whole again.

Men and women - they must learn how to consider each other
The frustrations and torments of love always stem from the fact that men and women do not know how to consider each other. They need an initiate teaching that will show them how to see the divine principle that animates every human being. In this way, a man will learn to see the eternal feminine principle, the divine Mother, in every woman on earth. And as the divine Mother possesses such a wealth of colour, perfume, form and movement, his heart and soul will never exhaust all these riches. Conversely, women too must learn to see in every man the possibility of a relationship with the eternal masculine principle, the heavenly Father. In this way, they can communicate with His wisdom, power and majesty. As long as human beings look no further than the man or woman they love, they will experience nothing but disappointment.
