Journey through the life of Tz'utujil Maya elder Tata Pedro Cruz and follow him as he takes us through his life of tragedy, war, and cultural injustices, to where he is today which is that of sharing the ancient teachings of his culture with the youth of surrounding communities as well as taking the bold step to share and preserve his cultural teachings of the Mayan calendar and ceremony to the world, working to dispel the misinterpretations surrounding the Mayan culture.
Learn the truth of what the Maya believe is going to happen in 2012 and travel deep inside the heart of ancient wisdom and how it is relevant to us as we move forward into a world filled with love, compassion and unity.

Mayans themselves reject any notion that the world will end. Pedro Celestino Yac Noj, a Mayan sage, burned seeds and fruits to mark the end of the old calender at a ceremony in Cuba. He said: "The 21st is for giving thanks and gratitude and the 22nd welcomes the new cycle, a new dawn."
