Now You Are Man - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Your Heart

Now You Are Man

Success is relative

Failure is a prelude to success

Success is a culmination of trail and error over countless centuries of what you call time

Detach from these notions of success and failure

Be at peace and be in love with all aspects of your living

See clearly and know that all is a part of a Divine plan

And all play their part to bring about a balance to the Whole

Dark and light

Good and evil

Male and female

All compliment each other and cancel each other out to bring a balance to the total continuum

Feel the Earth under your feet

Feel the Heavens as They silently caress and nurture your being

Connect to Both

Reconnect to your Self

Allow flows from Both

And balance the whole

Release the sadness

Release the disappointments

Release the images of failure

Succeed within yourself

And bring balance not only to your being, but to all you meet on your journeys path

Walk the Pilgrims path

And delight in the rain as well as the bright sunlight

Enjoy the harsh winds

As well as the gentle breezes

All contribute to the Whole

All are necessary for a sound and healthy system

Embrace change calmly

Be at peace

And wait upon the joy

Which arrives at unexpected moments

Know that you are capable of great acts of love

And can love and be loved

Forgive yourself as you would forgive others

Shed tears to cleanse your sorrow

Open a flow to Heaven and to Earth

Reap the benefits of Both

Be God in man

As well as man in God

Then you will be reborn as Man

Co-worker and Co-operator with Heaven and Earth

Balanced in the Love of Both

Balanced and calm within yourself

Centered within your heart

Open to All

As one is open to ones' Self

Firm in the knowing

That

Now you are Man

Wow, wow so wonderful words... leaves me with a sense of that there is no "must" or "have to's", but feel good just to "be" right now...
