GE Labeling Bill in Maine Needs Your Help

Thousands of Mainers have helped make LD 718, An Act to Protect Maine Food Consumers’ Right to Know about Genetically Engineered Food, the most talked about issue at the Maine State House this session. Thanks to thousands of GE labeling supporters both the House and Senate voted to pass LD 718 to label GE food. The Maine House of Representatives voted 141– 4 in favor of the bill. The Maine Senate voted 35-0 in favor of the bill.

We need your help today to make history. Please take action one final time and call Governor LePage and urge him to sign LD 718 into law to label GE food in Maine!
