High Levels Of Roundup Herbicide In Air & Water

A newly published U.S. Geological study found that 75% of the Mississippi air and rain samples tested from the year 2007 contained the herbicide Roundup. The environment is becoming so saturated with the 'fall out' from the ever-expanding G...M agrichemical farming grid, that even if you somehow find a way to avoid eating contaminated food, you will be forced to have to deal with its adverse health effects, as long as you need air to breathe and water to drink.

This study brings to the surface the extent to which GM farming has altered our daily exposure to chemicals, such that even the rain and air we now breathe contains physiologically relevant levels of glyphosate 'fall out' from the war against any plant not part of the monocultured, genetically engineered system of production. And meanwhile, a recently published independent peer reviewed study found Roundup to be the most toxic of 9 pesticides (yes, it is also a pesticide) tested. This leads us to ask: What would they find if they tested samples of air and water in 2014? And what will be the long term effects on our children?

Philipino Farmers Say No To GMO

Foto: GMO agriculture is devastating Filipino farmers and they've made a video to share their stories. Monsanto gets them hooked and after a few years, they double their prices. Farmers are forced to take out loans to cover the cost of the seeds and chemicals. If the farmers can't pay their debts, their cattle and land are confiscated. Their farmland is depleted, their bank accounts are depleted and they can't eat what they grow because it makes them sick. With a lack of availability of conventional corn seed, what are these farmers to do?

IsThe Health Of Americans in Decline Due To Poisons In Their Environment & Food?

Foto: Americans are sick and getting sicker. Researchers were surprised to find a "strikingly consistent and pervasive" pattern of poorer health at all stages of life, from infancy to childhood to adolescence to young adulthood to middle and old age. Compared to people in other developed nations, Americans endure some of the worst rates of heart disease, lung disease, obesity, and diabetes. What do Americans have in common? Could it be that 80% of the food we eat has been polluted with genetically modified organisms that have foreign genes forced into their DNA to allow them to withstand heavy dousing with toxic herbicides? Or perhaps it is the fact that much of our so called "food" is actually an EPA registered pesticide? We're dying to know!

Without a label, there is no traceability, no accountability and no liability.

My Gardasil Experience by Mia Hahn Zeerow

Gardasil changed my life.
Mia
My Gardasil Experience

By Mia Hahn Zeerow
Nustrup, Denmark

Sane Vax, Inc.,  20 February 2014

I am a 17-year-old (turning 18 in February) girl from Denmark, who unfortunately has been harmed by the HPV vaccine like thousands of other girls worldwide. I had no idea that this vaccine could take that much energy from me. I have now spent almost two years trying to get a better everyday life.  Before being vaccinated with Gardasil, I was always a very energetic and positive girl, who loved doing gymnastics in my spare time and also worked as an assistant instructor with a children’s team. This was where I relaxed and had a great time away from having to do my homework and any other household tasks. My weekends were typically booked with tournaments, shopping, parties and sleepovers and so on. I always looked forward to my weekends of fun.

January/March/September 2009: I received all Gardasil shots in 8th grade together with my twin sister. We had no concerns about receiving Gardasil, as the authorities encouraged us to be vaccinated in the many campaigns that were circulated at that time. Therefore, we did not have concerns about any adverse reactions, as we had not heard about any of the other girls who had been vaccinated having any serious reactions. We took the three shots, and nothing was wrong with my health for the first year and a half after the vaccine and then suddenly things started to change.

{Editor’s Note: Blatant vaccine damage is worrisome, but another insidious aspect of this supposedly disease-preventing medical procedure is the long term, delayed autoimmune disorders that are triggered.  Reference below, in particular to video presentation by Immunologist, Dr. Yehuda Shoenfeld who explains in his presentation that adjuvants used in most vaccines can trigger autoantibodies six months after vaccination and that the resulting autoimmune disorders can display literally eight years later. [1}}

Summer 2011: But suddenly, all kinds of illnesses suddenly started to trouble me.  It was (as mentioned) summer time, and I was training for the boarding school, when I suddenly felt that when I ate food containing gluten, this made my digestive system feel very uncomfortable and I also started to feel very nauseous every day. At that time, I did not even think there could be a connection with Gardasil, as it was a year and a half since I received the last shot. To begin with, I phased out bread and cakes containing gluten for a period of time but without any result.  I ignored it as best I could in the hope that the symptoms I was experiencing would disappear somehow.

Autumn/Winter 2011/2012:  During this period in time, the nausea and the bloating were still with me, and I was actually starting to feel much worse.   I do not remember when, but during the autumn of 2011 there was a period of time when I could not consume or digest anything at all.  I felt sick every time I tried eating anything, and I had to force myself to eat just a little bit. At the same time I suddenly realized that my hands and feet were turning purple even though it wasn’t cold at all.
Then the above stopped for a little while, but the symptoms returned again in the spring of 2012 and this time I lost 3 kilos in weight.   These symptoms continued more or less till the end of 2012.

March-May 2013: I was still very sick with nausea and bloating and also was now experiencing chronic tiredness (fatigue), “calf-cramps” and constipation/diarrhea. I went to the doctor who thought I was depressive.  I was not depressive, I was ill.  My world just collapsed in these months, I felt unwell most of the time and I would start to cry every time I joined my class mates at school.  Eventually I stayed home for a week to try and feel better.

In May 2013, I went to see my doctor once more and she told me not to consume gluten products for about three months. The gluten free diet helped in the first month or two, but then I suddenly got totally constipated and my stomach became so swollen, like that of a pregnant woman, and I felt awful and cried for days because of the unbearable pain.

September 2013: After believing that gluten was the reason I was experiencing problems with my health, my parents accidentally found an article describing adverse reactions from the Gardasil vaccine.  It did not take me long to find out that there were other girls who had experienced adverse reactions to the vaccine and I went to a meeting to speak with them to find out how they had been affected since vaccination.  It did not take me long to realize that by comparing my illnesses to those being experienced by the other girls that I too had been injured by Gardasil.  In this period of time I also stopped consuming milk products which helped a lot with my bloating.

December/January 2013/14: My digestion began being very poor again, and I lost my appetite. Once again I was feeling sick daily and my stomach began to feel bloated again. During this time, I could not eat and I have lost more weight, going down from 53 kgs to 50.4 kgs. I am still experiencing bad constipation and this can go on for several days.  No matter what medicine I take or eat lots of prunes and grapes nothing seems to work.  I just watch my stomach getting bigger and bigger and becoming more uncomfortable.

Adverse reactions I have been experiencing:
  • Abdominal pains (weekly);
  • Chronic Constipation;
  • Gluten and dairy allergy;
  • Dizziness;
  • Sleeplessness;
  • Weight loss;
  • Forgetfulness; Low-back-pain; Cramps;
  • Inability to concentrate;
  • Bloating; Nausea;
  • Cold hands and feet turning purple;
  • Fatigue;
  • Spotty skin from time to time

By comparing notes with girls who have been adversely affected by the Gardasil vaccine, by doing a lot of research and finding out what works to improve their health issues, I will do my very best to start to feel better myself.  I know in my heart that I have been adversely affected by the Gardasil vaccine.

The Holy Grail - A Quotation by Joseph Campbell

“The theme of the Grail story is the bringing of life into the wasteland – the wasteland is people out of authenticity, living someone else's life path........upon entering the forest where it is the darkest there is no path ------- those who can see and enter the castle of the Grail are those with spiritual readiness”

Human Health and the GMO Industry: Puppets in High Places by Colin Todhunter

Human Health and the GMO Industry: Puppets in High Places

by Colin Todhunter

Global Research Canada,  23 February 2014

Anne Glover recently declared that there is no evidence pertaining to the adverse impacts of GMOs. This is an extremely disturbing statement. It’s disturbing because it is not only patently wrong, but also because Anne Glover is chief scientific adviser of the European Commission.

In an interview with EurActiv on 24 July 2012, she stated:
“There is no substantiated case of any adverse impact on human health, animal health or environmental health, so that’s pretty robust evidence, and I would be confident in saying that there is no more risk in eating GMO food than eating conventionally farmed food.” (1)

In a letter to Anne Glover, which is posted on the GM Watch webite, Dr Brian John says that her claim is a “lie”. John regards himself as a member of the global scientific community ad has a background in environmental research and a long list of contacts in academia and within environmental, health, and consumer NGOs. In the letter to Glover, he states that many of his colleagues are directly involved in research in the GM field, and between them they have contributed hundreds of articles to the peer-reviewed literature.

Anne Glover wrote in 2012:
“If we look at evidence from [more than] 15 years of growing and consuming GMO foods globally, then there is no substantiated case of any adverse impact on human health, animal health, or environmental health.” (2)

In 2013, she wrote:

“There is no evidence that GM technologies are any riskier than conventional breeding technologies and this has been confirmed by thousands of research projects. Food produced with GM technology is very common in other parts of the world, without any evidence that this has been harmful to the people that consumed it or to the environment at large.” (3)

Brian John asks Glover:

“With all due respect, that is a repetition of the same lie. What literature do you read? And from whom do you obtain your scientific advice?”

John goes on to state:

“I wish to place on record that there is abundant and unequivocal published evidence, within and outside the peer-reviewed literature, of real harm to living organisms in the plant and animal kingdoms arising from the growing of GMO crops and the consumption of GMO foodstuffs. This material is freely available to any scientist who chooses to examine it, and many of the key publications are found within a list recently compiled and published by GMO Free USA.” (4)

John then lambasts Glover for her one-sided approach:

“Of course, there are others lists of publications, some purporting to demonstrate harm associated with GMOs, and others purporting to show that they are safe. You refer to “thousands of research projects” and pretend that they all reach the same conclusion. That is of course nonsense.”

Although Glover likes to argue there is a consensus within the ‘scientific community’ concerning the benefits and safety of GMOs, this is patently not the case.

John tells Glover:

“The fact of the matter is that there is a powerful case showing that GMOs are harmful, with the findings of many early papers substantiated and confirmed by subsequent research. To deny that case is to perpetrate a falsehood.”

He asks if Glover will now:

“… retract your 2012 statement and accept that there is abundant evidence showing adverse impacts (both direct and indirect) on human and animal health and on the environment arising from the growing and consumption of GMO products? And will you also issue an apology to those members of the research community whose publications (in peer-reviewed journals showing harm arising from the use of GMOs) you have so studiously ignored?”

In a December 2013 press release, the European Network of Scientists for Social and Environmental Responsibility (ENSSER) stated that Glover’s GMO propagandising is “irresponsible” as she “chooses to listen to one side of the scientific community only – the circle of GMO producers and their allied scientists” (5). Based on a statement signed by 297 scientists and experts, Dr Angelika Hilbeck, chair of the ENSSER, which published the statement, said:
“We’re surprised and pleased by the strong support for the statement. It seems to have tapped into a deep concern in the global scientific community that the name of science is being misused to make misleading claims about the safety of GM technology.”
Glover has serious conflicts of interest that have led Member of the European Parliament and former French minister for the environment, Corinne Lepage, to call for her resignation. According to GM Watch, Glover is a shareholder in a biotech company (6), and her background is that of a business-savvy genetic engineer. Her track record includes setting up the firm Remedios, which was named Scotland’s “Best New Biotechnology Company” for Biotech Scotland by its industry peers (7).
Glover’s pro-GM propaganda mirrors that of Owen Patterson, British Environment Secretary (8). His British Conservative Party colleague Zac Goldsmith has called him a puppet of the biotech industry (9).

Although Glover’s views are of great concern, in many respects she is symptomatic of a much deeper malaise that appears to run deep, whereby a lack of independence from the biotech and food conglomerates is distorting regulatory practices and corrupting policies within the EU to the detriment of the public (10).

Published on Feb 21, 2014

I have always wanted to travel to New Zealand for as long as I can remember, and so when I decided to move out of my home of 10 years and start pursuing film making around the world, I knew the time had come. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made to leave my beloved home, but I was more ready than ever to embrace the unknown and explore the world. I spent 3 months in New Zealand traveling in a Camper Van having one of the most incredible times of my life. I enjoyed countless nights under the stars, towering mountains, magical rainforest, stunning ocean, and meeting people from all over the world. It changed my life forever, and I know I'll never be the same.

Magical New Zealand is comprised of 8640 individual images from over 150,000 that were taken as I traveled around New Zealand for 3 months last spring. The inspirational music of Shaun Diaz is the perfect complement to this magical landscape. If you enjoy, please share!

The 10 Very Best Zen Stories

by Myrko Thum

Many teachings from Zen-Buddhism are told in short and delightful zen stories. They are usually designed to develop the mind and to free it from distortions and so to connect with our spirit.
Some of them are really inspiring and enlightening. It is helpful to the mind to think about them and feel the deeper meaning. Even if it is not possible to grasp them fully, the beauty and simplicity of the message usually gets through to us one way or the other.

The following 10 Zen stories are a selection of the ones I found most inspiring and really worth to ponder about. Some may be instantly understood, some others need to be thought through and recognized in oneself.

They are about the following topics: life in the present moment, different perspectives, attachment, resistance, judgment, delusion, beliefs and thought as mental concepts but not truth and unconditional love. Please feel free to post your interpretation or other stories into the comments.

After reading the first, follow it’s advice to read all the others. :)

1. A Cup of Tea

Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.
Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor’s cup full, and then kept on pouring.
The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. “It is overfull. No more will go in!”
“Like this cup,” Nan-in said, “you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?”

2. The Burden

Two monks were returning to the monastery in the evening. It had rained and there were puddles of water on the road sides. At one place a beautiful young woman was standing unable to walk accross because of a puddle of water. The elder of the two monks went up to a her lifted her and left her on the other side of the road, and continued his way to the monastery.

In the evening the younger monk came to the elder monk and said, “Sir, as monks, we cannot touch a woman ?”

The elder monk answered “yes, brother”.

Then the younger monk asks again, “but then Sir, how is that you lifted that woman on the roadside ?”

The elder monk smiled at him and told him ” I left her on the other side of the road, but you are still carrying her.”

One day Mara, the Evil One, was travelling through the villages of India with his attendants. he saw a man doing walking meditation whose face was lit up on wonder. The man had just discovered something on the ground in front of him. Mara’s attendant asked what that was and Mara replied, “A piece of truth.”

“Doesn’t this bother you when someone finds a piece of truth, O Evil One?” his attendant asked.

“No,” Mara replied. “Right after this, they usually make a belief out of it.”

3. Finding a Piece of the Truth

4. The Other Side

One day a young Buddhist on his journey home came to the banks of a wide river. Staring hopelessly at the great obstacle in front of him, he pondered for hours on just how to cross such a wide barrier.

Just as he was about to give up his pursuit to continue his journey he saw a great teacher on the other side of the river. The young Buddhist yells over to the teacher, “Oh wise one, can you tell me how to get to the other side of this river”?

The teacher ponders for a moment looks up and down the river and yells back, “My son, you are on the other side”.

5. Is That So?

The Zen master Hakuin was praised by his neighbors as one living a pure life.

A beautiful Japanese girl whose parents owned a food store lived near him. Suddenly, without any warning, her parents discovered she was with child.

This made her parents very angry. She would not confess who the man was, but after much harassment at last named Hakuin.

In great anger the parents went to the master. “Is that so?” was all he would say.

When the child was born, the parents brought it to the Hakuin, who now was viewed as a pariah by the whole village. They demanded that he take care of the child since it was his responsibility. “Is that so?” Hakuin said calmly as he accepted the child.

A year later the girl-mother could stand it no longer. She told her parents the truth – that the real father of the child was a young man who worked in the fishmarket.

The mother and father of the girl at once went to Hakuin to ask his forgiveness, to apologize at length, and to get the child back again.
Hakuin was willing. In yielding the child, all he said was: “Is that so?”

6. Maybe

Once upon the time there was an old farmer who had worked his crops for many years. One day his horse ran away. Upon hearing the news, his neighbors came to visit. “Such bad luck,” they said sympathetically.

“Maybe,” the farmer replied.

The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. “How wonderful,” the neighbors exclaimed.

“Maybe,” replied the old man.

The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune.

“Maybe,” answered the farmer.

The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son’s leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out.

“Maybe,” said the farmer.

7. Cliffhanger

One day while walking through the wilderness a man stumbled upon a vicious tiger. He ran but soon came to the edge of a high cliff. Desperate to save himself, he climbed down a vine and dangled over the fatal precipice.

As he hung there, two mice appeared from a hole in the cliff and began gnawing on the vine.
Suddenly, he noticed on the vine a plump wild strawberry. He plucked it and popped it in his mouth. It was incredibly delicious!

8. The Blind Men and the Elephant

Several citizens ran into a hot argument about God and different religions, and each one could not agree to a common answer. So they came to the Lord Buddha to find out what exactly God looks like.
The Buddha asked his disciples to get a large magnificent elephant and four blind men. He then brought the four blind to the elephant and told them to find out what the elephant would “look” like.
The first blind men touched the elephant leg and reported that it “looked” like a pillar. The second blind man touched the elephant tummy and said that an elephant was a wall. The third blind man touched the elephant ear and said that it was a piece of cloth. The fourth blind man hold on to the tail and described the elephant as a piece of rope. And all of them ran into a hot argument about the “appearance” of an elephant.

The Buddha asked the citizens: “Each blind man had touched the elephant but each of them gives a different description of the animal. Which answer is right?”

9. Right and Wrong

When Bankei held his seclusion-weeks of meditation, pupils from many parts of Japan came to attend. During one of these gatherings a pupil was caught stealing. The matter was reported to Bankei with the request that the culprit be expelled. Bankei ignored the case.

Later the pupil was caught in a similar act, and again Bankei disregarded the matter. This angered the other pupils, who drew up a petition asking for the dismissal of the thief, stating that otherwise they would leave in a body.

When Bankei had read the petition he called everyone before him. “You are wise brothers,” he told them. “You know what is right and what is not right. You may go somewhere else to study if you wish, but this poor brother does not even know right from wrong. Who will teach him if I do not? I am going to keep him here even if all the rest of you leave.”

A torrent of tears cleansed the face of the brother who had stolen. All desire to steal had vanished.

10. Nothing Exists

Yamaoka Tesshu, as a young student of Zen, visited one master after another. He called upon Dokuon of Shokoku.

Desiring to show his attainment, he said: “The mind, Buddha, and sentient beings, after all, do not exist. The true nature of phenomena is emptiness. There is no realization, no delusion, no sage, no mediocrity. There is no giving and nothing to be received.”

Dokuon, who was smoking quietly, said nothing. Suddenly he whacked Yamaoka with his bamboo pipe. This made the youth quite angry.

“If nothing exists,” inquired Dokuon, “where did this anger come from?”

Bonus 11. Teaching the Ultimate

In early times in Japan, bamboo-and-paper lanterns were used with candles inside. A blind man, visiting a friend one night, was offered a lantern to carry home with him.

“I do not need a lantern,” he said. “Darkness or light is all the same to me.”
“I know you do not need a lantern to find your way,” his friend replied, “but if you don’t have one, someone else may run into you. So you must take it.”

The blind man started off with the lantern and before he had walked very far someone ran squarely into him. “Look out where you are going!” he exclaimed to the stranger. “Can’t you see this lantern?”

“Your candle has burned out, brother,” replied the stranger.

The Planetary Deadline: From The Aquarian Passion Play - A Guest Post by Michael Brine

The Planetary Deadline - from The Aquarian Passion Play.

“If we could look down from outer space upon the Earth with clairvoyant vision we would see the auric field of the planet as a murky ball of seething mist and fog. We might stand aghast at beholding this great dark cloud of subtle matter, which would evidence itself to be of a density and thickness that indicated not only impenetrability but also those conditions that are unfavourable to life and which make all things appear unclear and distorted. Thus it would be appreciated that there is a pressing need for change and global decontamination, for preparation for all those upon Earth who would be ready to weather well the approaching purificatory storm and, moreover, who would take advantage of it. The effects of the cumulative and harmful thought-patterns and attitudes of humanity are pervasive worldwide, and are sorely evident today not only in the lives of mankind, but also upon the physical planet. Man has generally treated the Earth with gross disrespect for far too long. He has regarded his home together with its mineral, vegetable and animal kingdoms most carelessly, and has repeatedly demonstrated an attitude of negligence that expresses the erroneous view that the resources of the planet are for his own selfish use and exploitation alone.
Humanity, as a whole, has completely overlooked the fact that Mother Earth – Gaia – is a spiritual being, engaged in her own evolutionary development, and who lovingly endeavours to provide a perfectly balanced environment for the peaceful and harmonious existence of multifarious life-forms, including human beings.”

Let me also add a personal comment of my own:

We have also created an unbalanced world because of allowing us to be ruled by a dominantly male energy, which so often ignores the nurturing and compassionate energy of the Feminine. We have also given our power to some of the most divisive religions imaginable. By all means enjoy ones own religious/spiritual beliefs but when we attempt to impose these believes on others – often creating war in doing so - we cross the line. We only have to look at the Middle East to see this sad situation at its worst. However, it also exists within our own societies as well – however subtly.

One other more personal comment. We need to also ask ourselves is it necessary and creating harmony when we kill other life forms to satisfy our appetites? I’ll leave it with you.

Thank you – Michael.

Save The Fish & Save Ourselves - Just Don't Buy Roundup Herbicides

Independent peer reviewed studies have found that GLYPHOSATE based herbicides adversely impact 15 species of fish. This leads us to ask: What about the species they didn't test.... as well as us homo sapiens? Hold onto those goldfish in you...r backyard pond. Scotts' Roundup Ready grass could be coming to a neighbor's yard near you...

For your reading pleasure, here are links to the science that backs this up:
