“Japan and the United States have continued bilateral negotiations to follow up on the Singapore meeting, including ones on auto trade issues held in Washington earlier this week. Officials from both sides are expected to resume talks in late June or at the beginning of July.”
“During the upcoming session, the countries, which also include Australia, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico and New Zealand, are expected to thrash out difficult issues such as tariffs, intellectual property rights and reform of state-owned firms.”
