Note: I was inspired and wrote these poems a few days ago inspired by current events, information and conversations. I wrote five different versions of the same theme just by having a different third line in each poem. For version number four, I wrote the word, maskerade without even thinking about it's meaning in this context and it worked very well. If you would be so kind as to choose a favorite version and leave the number of the poem in the comment section.
I published these five poems in the haiku style of poetry for the first time on my blog today, the 2nd of December, 2020.
