Note: This poem was inspired while thinking of current world events and seeing how easy it is to deceive and manipulate through fear to get people to give up their civil and legal rights by a small group of psychopaths who have gained almost complete control of our governments, institutions and economic system. I wrote this poem in the haiku style of poetry and published it for the first time today, the 17th of April, 2020.
