Emotional Baiting - Know The Signs

This is far too common today.  We find in our governments, the media, our schools, health care facilities, in our places of worship, in our homes and in our playgrounds and sandboxes. Narcissism as well as other mental and emotional imbalances are as an epidemic in these times we live in.

Know the signs and avoid walking into this trap and once in the trap, use the truth spoken in calmness and certainly as your weapon.  Do not allow others to demean you as a means of maintaining their own weakness, deceptions and lies.

© M.N. Hopkins

Below is a quote from a movie called,  Gifted, which by the way, I highly recommend.

"Never get on the bad side of a small minded person with a little bit of authority."

Thanks - good point!
I actually didnt understand the true meaning of emotional baiting first but after doing some googling it asbolutely make sense.

I think this thing is very common in politics, media, courts and of course in real life. I have learnt that these people try to get one out of emotional balance through their energetic output but with some time, practice and experience it is quite the emotional battle the narcissistic people try to achive. I think, as yiu mentioned, so stay calm and balanced is the only way to truly stay out of it whetere it is media reports from politicians who is lying or threatening or if it is real life - because getting trapped in tgeir energy hooks and get upset, frustrsted, thrrstened, anxious or defend oneself with the same vibration one will easily get lost.
I guess the last time I was exposed to this was a speech from british prime minister Theresa May - which I felt hade terrible vibrations of fear and authority but to calmly "stand out from all the madness in the world and dont get trapped in their energies" at least for me works to stay balanced.

Great informative and important post!

So spot on truth. When somebody who is so self-entitled doesn't get their way they have to make it your fault. Whatever it is doesn't matter if you're not giving somebody something they want even if it's beyond your control you become the bad guy. Sometimes it's just easier to be the bad guy from the very beginning. Because no matter what you do it's your fault.
