Evil - do not fight it head-on; strengthen yourself in order to resist better and take better action
What do you do when it rains or hails, when a storm and high winds are raging? Do you go out and fight the elements? No, you look after your house: you fill in the cracks, replace broken tiles, make sure that it is well insulated, and so on. Once your house is shored up and secure you can rest easy. You know very well what to do when it comes to the forces of nature, so how is it that where evil is concerned, you no longer know what to do? You believe that you can vanquish evil by attacking it head-on, but you are the one who will be vanquished. Instead of battling evil, you must make yourself stronger so as to be able to resist better, understand better and take better action. Even Archangel Michael did not destroy evil,* for it is written in Revelation that he did not slay the dragon, he merely put it in chains and subdued it. So how can we, who are so much less powerful than Archangel Michael, believe that if we fight against evil we will succeed in destroying it?Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov was a Bulgarian philosopher, pedagogue, mystic, and esotericist.
