Strength In Unity - A Quotation by Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov

Strength in unity - a motto that applies to every human being

Look at people coming and going in the streets of a city: they mingle, their paths cross, and yet each one goes their separate way, bent exclusively on their own business. There is no cohesion and, consequently, no power in a crowd such as this. But then, from the milling crowd, emerges a man who begins to speak with such determination and assurance that the passers-by gather round and listen. In some cases, drawn by the strength of his convictions, they follow him and espouse his cause. As soon as a head, a leader appears, everyone immediately rallies around him – then what strength, what power the crowd takes on.  Well, this is an image of what can happen within you. Your life seems to have no meaning, because all your organs, all the cells of your body, are in disarray and without cohesion, everything is too scattered and displaced. Make up your minds to stand up and talk to the population that inhabits you, and persuade them to follow you on a divine path. The motto ‘Strength in unity’ should not apply only to a country or a society, but to every human being. Human beings must awaken the forces present in their consciousness, their subconsciousness and the cells of their body, and marshal them in the service of one central idea, so that the image of God lying deep within them may shine forth.
