Now Will Come Heaven On Earth - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Source of this picture:   http://portfolio.kevinthom.com/travel/Heaven_and_Earth

We see as others of our kind

You see as your kind

But

With a twist

You can touch to the Heavenly Realm

And

With this comes a price

You pay the price

Of knowing that a realm of beauty exists

In which justice is real

Goodness prevails

And

Love is the binding force of  our communities

To touch to this alternate reality

To feel alive

Gives one a different perspective

On living

Then

At the same time

Others can only intellectualize the possibility

Never knowing the reality

A difficulty in communication follows

To live in the world of man

Yet

Visit at times a world

That humankind may very well call

Heaven

Compassion grows

Clear seeing occurs

All that was once familiar

All that was comfortable

Now brings only sadness

And

A sense of loss

This will pass in tine

A realignment will occur

Within you being

That allows for the co-existence

Of both realms within your consciousness

This is not a mass realignment

But

A very personal and individual one

For others have not done the work

Or

Paid the price

Of knowing that a better world

A humane world

Is indeed a reality

We support you in your efforts

For others will follow this path

A few at first

Then

Many

A new joy arises

In the hearts of man

And

Colors the landscapes of your lives

Common sense

And

Clear seeing

Return to your world

Reason arrives

Then

Love follows

The darkness flies

As the Light from our world enters

Healing occurs

And

A balance is restored

Upon the Earth

Man is reborn

As the heart awakens

Humanity lost is

Now

Humane-ity found

The pain

And

Sickness

Created by man

Will no longer exist

Now

Will come the

Calmness

And

Certainty

Of Spirit

And

A joy in living

Now

Will come

Heaven on Earth

Note:  I wrote this on August 4, 2013 and first published this today as the last blog entry in Inspirational August.  I debated on whether to post it as an Inspirational writing or as a poem and as I reflect,  I suppose it is in reality, both.   The form does not rally matter as much as the reader getting it or as I'd like to think being touched by the words in some heartfelt manner.

So now this month of inspiration comes to a close but hopefully continues from time to time in our everyday living.

Today - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Someday

Is today

Today is the day

In which all days meet

There is no better time

Than

To meet your Self

Than

Today

Yes

Today

We will meet

We will dance

We will sing

In our Glory

And

In our Grace

Yes

Today

The only day

We really have

To express

What we truly are

Shall we?

Yes

Shall we?

Just be

Just as we truly are

This day

This Glorious Day

This Shining Bright Day

We call

None other

Than

Today.

A Promised Land Of Our Own Making - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

A mission

To none

Rather

Love

To all

This is the message

For

All who gasp

For the breathe of life

All who thirst

For the water of Life

Our will

Is

Your will

And

Your will

Is

Our will

Love colors

Our lives

Nourishes our dreams

Brings with it

Wisdom

And a peace in knowing

That all is of Goodness

As

Goodness enriches all

And

Colors our lives

With acts of kindness

To one another

As we unfold

Evolve

And

Complete

Our liberation

From the chains that bind us

And

Convince us

That paradise has been lost

That the flame of Love has died out

That all is lost

Now

The flames of Paradise

Burn bright

And

Light

Our ways

To a Promised Land

Yes

A Promised Land

Of our own making

Within This World Of Man - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Do not fear

These days of darkness

When nations

Rival for control

Of resources

Economic markets

And

The minds of mankind

All will fail

For they have chosen

The path of failure

Devoid of Light

Devoid of Love

An end to thir archaic systems

Is soon at hand

Hope springs from a Land to the East

A New way of living

A respect for each other

Reason returns

In time

Love will once again

Rule upon the Land

And

Amongst the nations

A new renaissance

New creations

Man aligns again

With the Earth

And

The Stars

Heaven and Earth rejoice

For

Man has returned

As a

Co-partner

A cooperator

A co-creator

In the building

Of human community

Such structures of beauty

Shall arise

From the ashes of the old ways

A new community

Will evolve

All will be heard

All will decide

In its building

Yes

Once again

Man realigns

With the rhythms of Life

And begins again

Anew

Enlivened

Refreshed

And

Self-reliant

Within this world of Man

A Moment Of Liberation - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Let not the outside

Distract you

No more

Rather

Feel that joy within

Which bubbles up

From an undefined

Source

Bubbles up naturally

As a spring from

Deep within the Earth

Yet

This joy is not just of this Earth

But

A joy

That comes from a place

Deep within yourself

A place unguarded

Fully accessable

The watchman has left

Due to the billance

Of a Light

Now

The cells of the human body

Sing with joy

The heart awakens

And

Is enlivened

Peace is at hand

And

A lion speaks

To a lamb

Angels speak to one another

As the Earth responds

A chorus begins

A song sung in the freedom

Of

A moment of liberation

Unite

A union is formed

Hearts sing out

A song of Love

Heaven and Earth respond

And Peace

Prevails for this moment

As joy returns

As God and Man

Unite

And

Be as one

In

Love.

Some Buddhist Humour

A Choice To Be Made - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

You are the ones

The ones who chooses

To follow

The banner of fear

Or

The ones that leads

The way

To liberation

To freedom

Of self

And

Others

A choice to be made

A life to be chosen

To join the forces of freedom

Or

To join with those who enslave

A choice to be made

Yes

Simply

A choice to be made

  3. “Drop the idea of becoming someone, because you are already a masterpiece. You cannot be improved. You have only to come to it, to know it, to realize it.”
  4. “To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.”
  5. “Life begins where fear ends.”
  6. “Creativity is the greatest rebellion in existence.”
  7. “My meditation is simple. It does not require any complex practices. It is simple. It is singing. It is dancing. It is sitting silently”
  8. “Intelligence is dangerous. Intelligence means you will start thinking on your own; you will start looking around on your own. You will not believe in the scriptures; you will believe only in your own experience.”

  10. “Courage Is a Love Affair with the Unknown”
  11. “Millions of people are suffering: they want to be loved but they don’t know how to love. And love cannot exist as a monologue; it is a dialogue, a very harmonious dialogue. ”
  12. “Truth is not to be found outside. No teacher, no scripture can give it to you. It is inside you and if you wish to attain it, seek your own company. Be with yourself. ”

  17. “Nobody is superior, nobody is inferior, but nobody is equal either. People are simply unique, incomparable. You are you, I am I. I have to contribute my potential to life; you have to contribute your potential to life. I have to discover my own being; you have to discover your own being.”
  18. “Be less of a judge and you will be surprised that when you become a witness and you don’t judge yourself, you stop judging others too. And that makes you more human, more compassionate, more understanding.”
  19. “You have to be grateful to existence that it has chosen you to be a passage for a few beautiful children. But you are not to interfere in their growth, in their potential. You are not to impose yourself upon them. They are not going to live in the same times, they are not going to face the same problems. They will be part of another world. Don´t prepare them for this world, this society, this time, because then you will be creating troubles for them. They will find themselves unfit, unqualified.”

Listen Now - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Listen now

Listen to the sounds of life

Feel the vibrations

Feel the tones

Feel the notes

That caress

And

Bring comfort

To your human bodies

And minds

Remember again

These beautiful notes

That make up this song of life

This song sung

By the most beautiful of voices

These voices that lie dormant in you

Waiting to be heard again

These voices

Waiting to sing again

Waiting to sing

Their songs of creation

Their songs of love

Their songs that awaken

Again

That which is best within yourself

And

Best within all of

Mankind

A Prayer Goes Out - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

It has been done

Your prayers have been answered

And

Now

Will others benefit

From the effects

Of the words offered

This day

In kindness

For ones fellows

The words go out

Into the collective

As waves upon the sea

Waves that carry

Messages

Far and wide

Some will be aware

And

Accept this gift

Others

Will not

As the prayer passes by

To find another

Willing

To accept this gift

Given freely

To all with

The courage

To change

Behaviors

And

Attitudes

Even their

Dreams

In the hope

Of the creation

Of a human community

Filled with

Light hearted

Kind

And

Compassionate

Beings

With the ability

To cooperate

And build

A just

And

Beauty filled society

In which

Decisions stem

From the heart

In the interest of others

Rather

Than

From self

Which only acts in

The interest

Of itself

Programed

For self survival

Not for the survival  of groups

Now

Waves go out

That will carry

Others

To the destination

Of their hearts

From where

Vibrant

And

Joyous living

Will begin

Anew

In the future

That was created

By

The dreams of a few

Carried upon the waves

Of the Collective Consciousneess

Over countless centuries

Of time

Until enough

Realize

Yes

Realize

This can be done

And

So will it be

In time

The word self denotes, ego.  In my view it is a tool or machine created as an aid that has become a tyrant believing it is a god.

No Coward Soul Is Mine - A Poem by Emily Bronte

No Coward Soul is Mine

No coward soul is mine,
No trembler in the worlds storm-troubled sphere:
I see Heavens glories shine,
And faith shines equal, arming me from fear.

O God within my breast.
Almighty, ever-present Deity!
Life — that in me has rest,
As I — Undying Life — have power in Thee!

Vain are the thousand creeds
That move mens hearts: unutterably vain;
Worthless as withered weeds,
Or idlest froth amid the boundless main,

To waken doubt in one
Holding so fast by Thine infinity;
So surely anchored on
The steadfast Rock of immortality.

With wide-embracing love
Thy Spirit animates eternal years,
Pervades and broods above,
Changes, sustains, dissolves, creates, and rears.

Though earth and man were gone,
And suns and universes ceased to be,
And Thou wert left alone,
Every existence would exist in Thee.

There is not room for Death,
Nor atom that his might could render void:
Thou — Thou art Being and Breath,
And what Thou art may never be destroyed.

Allow Grace - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Be not deceived

Rather

Be relieved

Of the fog

That has covered your eyes

And

Dimmed your view

Of the world around you

See

With clear

Eyes

Of Light

Open yourself

And allow yourself

To be loved by others

Allow Grace

To clear a pathway

Into your heart

Seek not

The consul of others

Rather

Seek only that which

Is best within yourself

And

Share it with others

For

Your time has come

To forgive

And

To be forgiven

Now

You can be

And know

That today will begin

A new

Direction

A holy path

That will take you

Eventually

Full Circle

Back to your Self

And

Back to the

Divine

The Wisdom Of Muhammad

Whoever is kind to His creatures, God is kind to him; therefore be kind to man on earth, whether good or bad; and being kind to the bad, is to withold him from badness, thus in heaven you will be treated kindly.    Kindness is a mark of faith: and whoever hath not kindness hath not faith.    To gladden the heart of the weary, to remove the suffering of the afflicted, hath its own reward. In the day of trouble, the memory of the action cometh like a rush of the torrent, and taketh our burden away.

Where There Is Faith, There Is Love - A Poem by M.N.Hopkins

Faith renews

Faith restores

Faith opens the doorway to one's heart

And one's freedom from fear

For where there is faith

There is love,

And where there is love

Fear cannot exist.

So

Go in faith

And you open a gateway

To a new kind of living.

One

That many have dreamed about

For countless centuries
